The Fortuna
Incubator

Your vision. Our network. A shared path forward.

Section 1

Your idea. A team behind it.

Fortuna’s incubator gives emerging developers and founders access to development, marketing, legal and financial support, together with our members, board and wider network.

We use a repeatable approach to help projects build their product, prepare their documentation and address future risks. The work is tailored to the business and its existing team.

It starts in the pitch pool.Submit your project, explain what you have built and tell us where you need help. Fortuna can shortlist the pitch for a conversation. Accepted projects join the incubator directory as their scope and terms are developed.

A consistent playbook

Project structure, development, documentation, marketing and launch planning follow a repeatable process.

A project-specific plan

Each idea is assessed individually. The team, timeline, costs and terms are shaped around what the project needs.

Section 2

Keep the vision.
Add the expertise.

Your existing team joins the project team. Fortuna helps assemble the development, marketing, legal, finance and leadership support around it.

From day one of the agreed programme, the founder leads as CVO — Chief Visionary Officer — and starts receiving a salary from the project’s own treasury.

10%

Founder token allocation

The founder retains 10% of the project’s token supply.

10%

Fortuna project team

Allocated to build the board and team supporting the project.

Founder pay is part of the project budget. The salary and payment schedule are agreed for the project and managed by the CFO. These token allocations do not themselves define company ownership or voting rights.
Section 3 · Angel stage

One member purchase.
One treasury match.

For every project token a member purchases in the angel stage, Fortuna Treasury will purchase one matching project token, paying in FUT.

ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE · PROJECT X / PJX

Member purchases1,000 PJXHeld by the member
Fortuna Treasury purchases1,000 PJXPaid for using FUT
2,000 PJX purchased in total1,000 member-held · 1,000 treasury-held

Members receive the project’s token.

If the project is Project X, the member receives PJX tokens. Fortuna Treasury holds the project tokens it purchases through the matching mechanism.

Matching is measured in project-token quantities. The FUT payment amount depends on the project-token price and the agreed FUT conversion rate. Pricing, settlement, matching limits and the allocation used for those purchases are specified in the project terms.

PJX is an explanatory example, not a project currently in the directory. A FUT payment is not automatically equivalent to cash available for operating expenses.

Section 4

Fund the work
that gets you there.

The proposed discounted pre-IEO allocates 24% of the project’s token supply and targets US$2 million equivalent to fund the project’s setup and operations.

US$2 million
Equivalent funding target · 24% pre-IEO allocation
Legal & documentation
Legal work, project agreements and the whitepaper.
Development
Token creation, smart contracts, CTO and product development.
Financial management
CFO, budgeting, spending oversight and reporting.
Working capital
Founder salary, team costs and day-to-day operations.
Launch preparation
Branding, marketing and other agreed project costs.

The CFO manages the budget and distributes project funds to their approved uses. The detailed cost allocations are prepared for each project.

This is a target, not funding already raised. Accepted currencies, FUT valuation, fees, funding thresholds and whether matching purchases count toward the target are defined in the project’s offer terms.

Section 5 · New incubated projects

A clear token structure.

The proposed framework reserves tokens for the founder, the project team, the funding rounds, branding and liquidity.

The final 10% is tailored to each project. The named allocations total 90%. The remaining 10% is reserved for each project’s specific needs. For example, a music project may need more for copyright and licensing, while another may require more for trademarks or additional ambassadors. These categories can include the proposed 1–3% allocations, with the final split agreed for each project and documented in its whitepaper.
Section 6

Build with a plan.
Know where the funds go.

The project team turns the founder’s vision into a delivery plan. The CFO oversees spending while the technical, legal and marketing teams coordinate their work.

Agree scope and responsibilities

Set deliverables, budgets, founder pay and the responsibilities of the combined project team.

Create the token and whitepaper

Prepare the project token, smart contracts, full whitepaper and project-specific legal documentation.

Review progress and risks

Track milestones, consider technical and commercial risks and adjust the delivery plan when needed.

Prepare for launch

Coordinate branding, member engagement and the requirements for the proposed IEO.

Oversight continues after funding.Project updates should explain what has been delivered, what comes next and how the budget is being used. The reporting cadence and spending approvals are set in the project agreements.
